Inspired by how successful companies work, Makman was launched in 2015 as a means to spread a new work culture and driven by the urge to elevate the performance of all types of organizations in MENA.
Makman initiated its journey as a professional services provider specializing in project management and business analysis and expanded its offerings soon after to educational services targeting individuals with its early offerings of project management courses. Makman's early courses were marked by simplicity and enriched by exercises and anecdotal evidence which provided a unique experience for Makman's early customers and was the cornerstone for developing the company's style of delivery. Makman became a Registered Education Provider (R.E.P) with the Project Management Institute (PMI®) mid 2018 and then became an Authorized Training Partner (ATP) with PMI® in 2020.
By the end of its first year, Makman was able to attract a number of talented individuals with major experience in the Telecom and Oil & Gas industries. This team became the core of the company working continuously on shaping its future and purpose.
Technology was always a moving passion that was imprinted in most of Makman's core team hearts. Combining their love for management and technology led to a fruitful partnership with the TM Forum® that was closed at the start of 2018 and expanded in 2019 to cover the whole Arab League. This allowed Makman to work on the forefront of digital enablement in North Africa and the Middle East bringing it closer to fulfilling its purpose and passion. The fusion of Makman's talents and capabilities with the TM Forums expertise and network yielded a powerful value creation formula for Makman's customers.
Makman sought to repeat its success in the Telecom industry with its peer, the Oil & Gas industry, by partnering with Endeavor Management® which led to more exciting opportunities and expanded Makman's influence and impact. This partnership model soon grew to include other major contributors to Makman's impact such as The STL Partners®, RMC Learning Solutions® and The GC Index®. This supported Makman in delivering valuable expertise to its customers, even in the most difficult of times, and provided the means for Makman to creatively transfers its knowledge and experience to adjacent industries accelerating the transformation of organizations within the region.
