Makman Joins Phase 3 of the SATCOM + 5G + Edge Project
We are thrilled to announce our involvement in Phase 3 of this transformative initiative, following our successful participation in Phase 2 of the SATCOM + 5G Catalyst Project—which was recognized by the TM Forum with the *Tech for Good* Award and the *Innovative and Futuristic* Award for its visionary approach and impactful contributions to the 5G and satellite network industry.
Last year, Phase 2 focused on integrating telecom networks with satellite communications, addressing the critical need for advanced, resilient connectivity solutions in underserved and remote areas.
This year, Phase 3 will build on these achievements by introducing new capabilities:
- Provisioning mission-critical edge applications on demand to edge computing devices
- Monitoring and assuring end-to-end network, service, and application performance
- Enabling charging and billing for network services and applications
This project reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering cutting-edge connectivity solutions that empower businesses and communities in remote areas while fostering innovation and creating new revenue streams for SATCOM providers and CSPs.
