Makman Technology Consulting is continuing its collaboration with Comarch and Hatif Libya through a new Proof of Concept (PoC), aimed at validating key Business Support System (BSS) capabilities for fibre-based broadband services. This initiative builds on the OSS pilot project launched earlier in 2025.

“The continuation of this collaboration marks an important step in translating transformation strategy into operational reality,” said Luqman Shantal, CEO of Makman Technology Consulting. “By validating advanced BSS capabilities alongside ongoing OSS modernization, we are aligning technology, processes, and business objectives through a pragmatic, phased approach. Our focus is on enabling zero-touch service delivery and building a scalable foundation for autonomous operations that delivers tangible value for Hatif Libya and its partners.”

The BSS PoC builds on the strategic partnership between Makman, Comarch, and Hatif Libya, established in June 2025 during DTW Copenhagen. The initiative aims to accelerate the adoption of autonomous networks and AIOps frameworks within Libya’s telecommunications sector, with initial activities centered on developing a zero-touch Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) transformation roadmap for Hatif Libya.

In October 2025, the three companies launched an OSS transformation pilot project focused on advancing network automation, autonomous operations, and operational modernization across Libya’s telecom landscape. The new PoC represents a natural progression, extending validation across the full OSS and BSS value chain.

“Following the success of the OSS pilot, this PoC provides a joint validation phase to assess how advanced BSS capabilities can support end-to-end service delivery, enhance cooperation with ISP partners, and further streamline operational processes,” said Paweł Workiewicz, Chief Commercial Officer, Telecommunications Division at Comarch.

The agreement further strengthens cooperation between the parties, supporting the development of fibre-based broadband services in Libya and laying the groundwork for broader BSS/OSS automation and long-term digital transformation across the North African telecommunications market.

["post-3424","announcements","type-announcements","status-publish","hentry
["GET
